At Christmas time when we were in Kansas visiting family we continued our search for a home for our eventual retirement. We thought we had purchased a country home in Colorado last summer, but due to a legal battle over water rights for the drinking water in the home, the closing never came about. So when we were in Hutchinson we made an offer on a home there. The closing was in February.
Our plan is to move most of our household things to Kansas, but return here to RGBI in late August or early September. We plan to make this move on Saturday, March 28. John, Roberta's brother plans to fly to McAllen from Indianapolis on Wed. We will pack a rental truck on Friday, and be on our way Saturday. It is a 900 mile trip so will take 2 days. We plan to get both of our cars there so John will drive for us.
We would appreciate your prayers for us in this endeavor. We will continue as Associate Staff at RGBI for 6 months of the year. Eventually we will probably be Winter Volunteers. But we felt it was time for this move.

Have a good trip! Hope the move goes well.
Hello there! I saw your comment on the Dulls Blog so I popped over to check out your blog. It will be fun to show the kids. They still talk about what fun they had there at the daycare and they all still have the pillows you made them. Micah is especially attached to his. I read about your move and we will be praying for you all this weekend as you move.
